How do you feel your body has changed from Barre Centric classes?
I feel like I’ve improved my strength and enhanced my muscle tone. I can see definition in my physique.

What is your favorite part about coming to Barre Centric classes?
First and foremost I really love the instructors , they always  give me a great workout. They are always there to make sure I’m doing the workout correctly and getting the most out of my experience. I really enjoy the energy of the people I’m in class with and  they inspire me to push harder and do better.

Advice for anyone thinking about trying their first barre class?
Be prepared for the best workout in your life!!!!

How do you feel your body has changed from Barre Centric classes?
Everything on my body feels tighter! My arms feel more defined, my thighs and waist feel slimmer and my seat feels more plump; isn’t that what every girl wants?!

What is your favorite part about coming to Barre Centric classes?
I can always count on a great workout. I was getting so bored with just going to the gym and I was running out of ideas for workouts. At Barre Centric, I don’t get bored, I don’t have to come up with exercises and there aren’t any opportunities to slack off. The instructors are amazing and the environment is one that I really enjoy being a part of.

Advice for anyone thinking about trying their first barre class?
Don’t be nervous! It’s definitely scary to try something new, but put yourself out there and try it. Even with a dance background, I was nervous to try barre. But it is really the best thing I’ve done for myself in a while. My motivation is back and for the first time in a very long time I enjoy working out. Barre is the best part of my day!

How do you feel your body has changed from Barre Centric classes?
Barre has helped me tone and strengthen. It has also helped my flexibility and I just feel so much better.

What is your favorite part about coming to Barre Centric classes?
Besides the great workout I would say the people. It is positive, energizing and a definite bright spot in my day.

Advice for anyone thinking about trying their first barre class?
Just do it! It is awesome!

How do you feel your body has changed from Barre Centric classes?
I am amazed by how toned I am overall especially my abs. I am definitely stronger too.

What is your favorite part about coming to Barre Centric classes?
Each class is different and energetic. All the instructors are amazing! I love the way I feel after each class: accomplished and centered.

Advice for anyone thinking about trying their first barre class?
The first class can be a bit challenging but you will quickly master the barre moves. You’ll be hooked after a few classes!

How do you feel your body has changed from Barre Centric classes?
I feel my muscles are more defined.  Especially leg ones.

What is your favorite part about coming to Barre Centric classes?
Honestly- I love the exercise type, but the starting and ending on time allow me to plan ahead, which is great for me.

Advice for anyone thinking about trying their first barre class?
Just do it.  It’ll be hard., but you’ll feel it immediately and results come quick!

I feel stronger in all aspects of my life because of barre. Barre Centric brought me and my injured back, back to life.

What is your favorite part about coming to Barre Centric classes?
Obviously our barre girl gang!!!  Special shout out to Rach for playing Kanye, Bey, and regulating our low weight game.  Kelsey for keeping our eyes up and shoulders down! Gia for keeping us in check and regulating all things reverse chair! Mandy for keeping our hips quiet and ending music on cue!  Elle sticking it out with us on our last 8 count shake’s…mind over body.

Advice for anyone thinking about trying their first barre class?
Just come, love at first tuck exists. Also, you’ll probably make friends, we’ll let you tuck with us!

How do you feel your body has changed from Barre Centric classes?
My legs, abs and arms all feel so much stronger and I have tone that I’ve never had! And just when you feel you have the routine down it changes so I can feel different muscles working right away.

What is your favorite part about coming to Barre Centric classes?
My favorite part of coming to barre is getting such a great workout in an hour.  My favorite class is the cardio one because you literally feel thinner the second you’re done. And the Xpress classes are so awesome because you can go during lunch and head back to work. Everyone is so sweet and friendly and that makes it so easy to feel comfortable.

Advice for anyone thinking about trying their first barre class
Just sign up and go! It’s very easy to get addicted! And if you feel like you don’t know what you’re doing, the instructors guide you until you do!

How do you feel your body has changed from Barre Centric classes?
I started noticing a difference in my body after the first week! I’ve been going for about 2 months now and notice a solid difference. I’m getting stronger without adding bulk, firming areas that were hard to target in other forms of exercise and leaning out.

Advice for anyone thinking about trying their first barre class
Do it! I’ve tried lots of different forms of exercise and I think Barre is my favorite so far. I don’t leave feeling depleted like hot yoga did to me, I don’t have the joint paint that I use to have from traditional weightlifting and crossfit. I love that you can  push yourself at whatever level you are at and still get a great workout, and work your body in a gentle yet effective way. I didn’t think it was going to be for me- since I have no dance background (and rather of the clumsy side) but that isn’t the case. I’m totally hooked!

How do you feel your body has changed from Barre Centric classes?
I have definitely slimmed down since starting barre. In the first month and a half of being here I lost 15 pounds. The biggest change for me though has been how much more developed my muscles look and feel. I’ve always struggled with my arms and for the first time in my life I have arm muscle that I can see and feel. To me, that’s such an achievement. Even outside of the studio, I’m more flexible and balanced. I went on a hiking trip last month and my boyfriend was like “When did you turn into such an athlete? You’re flying through these climbs.”

What is your favorite part about coming to Barre Centric classes?
I love that I’m never bored. I have a short attention span and I get bored after a few times of doing a fitness routine. At barre, the routine switches up every week and each instructor has their own way of teaching that makes it different. Even during one class, by the time you’re tired of working on arms, you’re moving right into legs. I’m never watching the clock for class to end.

Advice for anyone thinking about trying their first barre class
Just come in and try! It doesn’t matter whether you haven’t worked out in a while, you work out regularly, or you’re recovering from an injury. The classes are fun and there are modification options. When I first came into barre, I hadn’t had a regular fitness routine since I danced 6 years ago. I was nervous about coming to my first class but the instructors were so great and helpful. They’re always making sure you’re in the right position so you’re not hurting your body and are very motivating.
