Barre star of the month: Alison

How do you feel your body has changed from Barre classes?
I feel that since I started taking Barre I have noticed that my “seat” is much more lifted and toned. I also feel that my core is stronger and that my arms look more defined.

What is your favorite part of coming to Barre Centric classes?
My favorite part of coming to Barre classes is how I feel during and after class. I always feel more relaxed and healthy. I also love how each teacher gives each student individual attention without making them feel silly. Seeing my friends and making new ones is another thing that I love about Barre!

Advice for anyone who is thinking about trying his or her first barre class?
I highly recommend trying a Barre Centric class! I am not a dancer, I don’t do all of the moves perfectly, but I definitely see results and feel better than ever. I used to think that the only way to stay in shape was to do all sorts of wild workouts with lots of jumping and kicking but you can get an even better, low impact workout from Barre.
