How do you feel your body has changed from Barre classes?
I have definitely noticed a favorable change in my muscle structure and general toning- especially in my arms and legs. I also feel like the variation of exercises has increased my general flexibility and movement of my body on and off the mat.
What is your favorite part of coming to Barre Centric classes?
I love how the choreography and flow of the different classes changes weekly. Not only does it keep your workouts from getting stale but also keeps your body on point (no pun intended) and constantly changing for the better! And of course, all my fellow “Barre Kweens” that have turned into friends. 🙂
Advice for anyone who is thinking about trying his or her first barre class?
If your lack of a dance or ballet background is holding you back, don’t let it! Let’s just say my short lived dance and ballet career was beyond laughable and should have been nonexistent if we are being honest… You do not need to be a dancer or familiar with ballet stances to benefit and enjoy a barre class- believe me! Get out there, grab a friend and take a class. And hey, if you’re afraid of what you’ll look like in comparison, just close your eyes or don’t look in the mirror and rock it out!
