How do you feel your body has changed from barre classes? 
I feel much stronger, more flexible, and more confident! I have gained a lot of core strength and am much more aware of my posture.
What is your favorite part of coming to Barre Centric classes?
I love barre because it is the one time I get to forget about everything else and focus on my own mind and body. I also love the positive atmosphere and the encouraging instructors.
Advice for anyone who is thinking about trying their first barre class?
Definitely try it! I have seen so much improvement in myself since my first class. Barre Centric is so welcoming and I find all of the instructors to be very approachable! There are a variety of different classes to choose from so take your pick and sign up!

How do you feel your body has changed from barre classes? 
Since I started going to Barre I feel more in tune with my body. I feel more balanced and strong in my body and in my mind.
What is your favorite part of coming to Barre Centric classes? 
Coming to a Barre Centric class is such a treat for me. My favorite part is to see what “New” muscles I am going to discover that day. Depending on how the workouts are designed different muscles are targeted which is amazing.
Advice for anyone who is thinking about trying their first barre class?
Barre classes are amazing for anyone who wants to build a strong and flexible body. As a woman I enjoy the elegance of this type of movement. So, if you want to be strong and at the same time sexy and elegant you should try Barre

How do you feel your body has changed from Barre classes? I feel that my balance has improved as well as overall core strength. I know that psychologically, it has served as an amazing outlet for stress. Oh, and I can almost do the splits now!!!

What is your favorite part of coming to Barre Centric classes? Sweating. I enjoy the people in class, the uplifting vibe and the feeling of getting a tough workout. All of the teachers are supportive and approachable which also helps a lot. I mean Mandy let me into my first class 10 minutes late as I was rushing there from work without ever having been to Barre Centric prior.

Advice for anyone who is thinking about trying his or her first barre class? Just go. You will get addicted to a healthy form of exercise for your body and mind. Not to mention, you will have a blast in doing so.

How do you feel your body has changed from barre classes? 
I FEEL STRONGER AND MORE CONFIDENT. I am also down a dress/pant/top size. My husband says my arms look good!
What is your favorite part of coming to Barre Centric classes?
Knowing it is going to be hard work and coming anyway, the instructors make me feel welcome and encourage me to work to my full potential even when I might not be feeling strong that day, and the awesome classmates that make it fun!
Advice for anyone who is thinking about trying their first barre class?
Barre Centric instructors and clients are very supportive and nonjudgmental. It was my biggest fear coming to class- that I was bigger than I wanted to be and out of shape. No one judged me. They welcomed me and were glad to have me. That helped a lot.

What is your favorite part of coming to Barre Centric classes? 
My favorite part of coming to Barre class is seeing Gia and Rachael because they are awesome. I love how all the instructors help you out throughout the class.
Advice for anyone who is thinking about trying their first barre class?
My advice for someone whose just starting barre is to never give up.  Push the pain. Feel the burn.

How do you feel your body has changed from barre classes? Since I have began taking barre regularly I have definitely noticed the most change in my thighs and arms, they are becoming more defined! What’s great about Barre Centric is the focus they put on each part of the body. Not only does it target the parts of the body we all want to be longer and more lean, the instructors change the exercises each week to target other muscles connected to the arms, thighs, and seat. I also feel that it has improved my posture overall.
What is your favorite part of coming to Barre Centric classes?The best part of coming to Barre Centric classes is definitely the positive and upbeat atmosphere of both the instructors and the other people in class. With the everyday hustle and bustle of life, or just a stressful day in general its nice to have somewhere to look forward to going to. Even when I am feeling tired or lazy or I just plain don’t feel like working out, going to Barre puts me in a better mood and I am always happy that I did when I leave! I love to be able to have fun while working out, and getting a better body shape at the same time!
Advice for anyone who is thinking about trying their first barre class? For anyone who is thinking about trying their first barre class, I would say definitely to try it, you wont be disappointed! This is such a welcoming studio, they know your name even after just taking one class! Each class you take you learn more and more, and you improve as you go. The instructors are always so helpful, they even help adjust you to make sure you are getting the most out of each exercise. Trying something new is always a little nerve wrecking at first, but you always feel comfortable here! (I am not sure if you will be doing this again this summer, but, if you are you can also add this : Barre Centric also offers classes over the summer down at canalside (which was actually my first class 🙂 ) so that gives you an opportunity to see what they are all about, and you will be hooked!

How do you feel your body has changed from barre classes? Since I have started barre class, I have noticed I am becoming much more toned and I am a lot stronger than I was before. I have seen the biggest changes in my arms and legs. 🙂
What is your favorite part of coming to Barre Centric classes? It’s hard to pick one… I love how the instructors are always friendly, encouraging, and helpful. I also love the music and the change in the routine each week. Classes are always challenging and fun. 😉
Advice for anyone who is thinking about trying their first barre class? Give it a try and I am sure you will love it!! I cancelled my gym membership because barre is more enjoyable and I am seeing better results. 🙂

How do you feel your body has changed from barre classes?
 I never used to see any results in weight training exercises but after doing barre I have seen a full body transformation.
 What is your favorite part of coming to Barre Centric classes?
From day one everyone has been so welcoming and nice. I used to do barre in NYC and never once connected with anyone. Barre Centric is such an inviting studio I immediately felt at home.
Advice for anyone who is thinking about trying their first barre class?
It’s an awesome overall workout, and if you put in the work you will quickly see results!

How do you feel your body has changed from barre classes? 
My muscles have become so much stronger and sculpted since coming to barre! My thigh muscles are rock hard. For a women who has given birth to 7 children, I have abs and my “spare tire” has disappeared!!!

What is your favorite part of coming to Barre Centric classes? My favorite part about barre class is that at the end of 60 min I know I have “put the work in”. The routines are do-able and the variety of classes keeps it interesting. The instructors are so encouraging no matter what studio that you attend. I have met some very nice barre buddies too.

Advice for anyone who is thinking about trying their first barre class? After every class you attend you are more flexible and stronger with an improved sense of balance. You will notice that, for example, you lift your leg  or do a crunch during a routine that the next time you can do it a little easier and lift your leg a little bit higher. There is no pressure to attend since the results are all the encouragement that you need to return . I found the key is to set a target of the number of days / week to attend and stick to it!
