How do you feel your body has changed from barre classes? Since I have began taking barre regularly I have definitely noticed the most change in my thighs and arms, they are becoming more defined! What’s great about Barre Centric is the focus they put on each part of the body. Not only does it target the parts of the body we all want to be longer and more lean, the instructors change the exercises each week to target other muscles connected to the arms, thighs, and seat. I also feel that it has improved my posture overall.
What is your favorite part of coming to Barre Centric classes?The best part of coming to Barre Centric classes is definitely the positive and upbeat atmosphere of both the instructors and the other people in class. With the everyday hustle and bustle of life, or just a stressful day in general its nice to have somewhere to look forward to going to. Even when I am feeling tired or lazy or I just plain don’t feel like working out, going to Barre puts me in a better mood and I am always happy that I did when I leave! I love to be able to have fun while working out, and getting a better body shape at the same time!
Advice for anyone who is thinking about trying their first barre class? For anyone who is thinking about trying their first barre class, I would say definitely to try it, you wont be disappointed! This is such a welcoming studio, they know your name even after just taking one class! Each class you take you learn more and more, and you improve as you go. The instructors are always so helpful, they even help adjust you to make sure you are getting the most out of each exercise. Trying something new is always a little nerve wrecking at first, but you always feel comfortable here! (I am not sure if you will be doing this again this summer, but, if you are you can also add this : Barre Centric also offers classes over the summer down at canalside (which was actually my first class 🙂 ) so that gives you an opportunity to see what they are all about, and you will be hooked!
