Barre star of the month: Jackie


How do you feel your body has changed from barre classes? 
My muscles have become so much stronger and sculpted since coming to barre! My thigh muscles are rock hard. For a women who has given birth to 7 children, I have abs and my “spare tire” has disappeared!!!

What is your favorite part of coming to Barre Centric classes? My favorite part about barre class is that at the end of 60 min I know I have “put the work in”. The routines are do-able and the variety of classes keeps it interesting. The instructors are so encouraging no matter what studio that you attend. I have met some very nice barre buddies too.

Advice for anyone who is thinking about trying their first barre class? After every class you attend you are more flexible and stronger with an improved sense of balance. You will notice that, for example, you lift your leg  or do a crunch during a routine that the next time you can do it a little easier and lift your leg a little bit higher. There is no pressure to attend since the results are all the encouragement that you need to return . I found the key is to set a target of the number of days / week to attend and stick to it!
